After a 5 week gig of Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Florida, I'm back home with my favorite ladies. I'll definitely miss the awesome musicians in the pit and the super talented cast. I also caught up with some old buddies and made a ton of new ones. My 95 year old dad even swung by for a visit.

Very grateful to hear from so many friends and family today. Thank you for thinking of me My birthday celebration included the start of a three week run of one of my very favorite shows and making music with all the great musicians in the pit.
Very sad to hear about the passing of Charles Lewis. I first heard his great trumpet playing on the Empire Brass recordings of the Ewald Symphonies. Then I had the privilege to work in the theatre with him for many years. RIP.

So great to hear and meet my trumpet hero Arturo Sandoval tonight. Mike Tucker killed it on tenor sax as did the rest of the band. Thank you Angela DiBart for a seat at your table.
