CHỢ, meaning “market” in Vietnamese, are not only places for trading, but also the cradle of folk art and intangible cultural heritage. Here, traditional art forms such as singing Chầu Văn, Ca Trù, Quan Họ... are performed naturally, infiltrating life. Chợ is the birthplace of precious intangible cultural heritages, from lullabies, songs to sophisticated handicrafts, demonstrating the ingenuity of the Vietnamese people. It is a space containing the core of traditional Vietnamese art, where colors, sounds, and flavors intersect, creating a vivid picture of culture and beliefs. Chợ is where we find not only goods but also the breath of culture, where every small corner contributes to weaving the rich tapestry of the nation's heritage.
