📕 📣 Lit Chat Update: Due to an unexpected family emergency, author @kairarouda will be unable to physically attend the Lit Chat Interview tonight. The program will still take place as scheduled, but Kaira will join us virtually. Attend the in-person watch party at 5:30 p.m. the Mandarin Branch Library, located at 3330 Kori Road for a chance to receive a free copy of We Were Never Friends, a signed bookplate, and other fun swag (while supplies last). Or sign up at jaxlibrary.org/litchat by 3:30 p.m. to receive the Zoom meeting link. These books were generously donated by Kaira as a special thank-you to attendees. @sanmarcobooks will be on site to give out the free copies. This event was sponsored by Friends of the Mandarin Library .

Will you be in #dtjax for Art Walk tonight? The "Best of Elementary Art Exhibition" is going on now through May 13 at the Main Library. This exuberant work by some of the most creative @duvalcountyschools students is just one part of a larger "Elementary Art Exhibition" happening at 15 Jax Library locations. As always, Main Library is open late for the festivities. Sign up for 20-minute tours of library and our permanent art collection or drop-in for games, zine-making and other activities! This month, the Library is also showcasing local art by Megan Lester and the First Coast Plein Air Painters, on display in the 2nd and 3rd floor galleries.
