Though I never had the chance to meet her personally, her presence and performance left a lasting impact on so many of us. We missed seeing her last year, and now this year at Return to Amity, her absence will be felt even more deeply. We’re excited to announce an incredible Jaws memorabilia showcase coming to Return to Amity, featuring an extraordinary collection of rare and iconic pieces from the legendary 1975 film.
The showcase will feature standout items including a Greener harpoon gun, a yellow Orca barrel, Quint’s machete, original crew and production tee tied to the making and legacy of Jaws.
The collection belongs to New England native Krys DiBella, a lifelong movie buff with a deep appreciation for classic films. After first seeing Jaws at just four years old, his passion for the movie eventually grew into an extensive collection of memorabilia. What began with a single collectible gifted by his wife quickly expanded, and just months before their wedding, a screen-used Greener harpoon gun unexpectedly became part of the collection.
Krys is excited to share his passion for Jaws and film history with fellow fans at Return to Amity, and we’re thrilled to welcome him and a selection of his incredible collection to our event.
One of the centerpiece items is an authentic original 1974 Jaws cast and crew T-shirt, considered a true “holy grail” in entertainment memorabilia. The shirt was screen printed during production inside the boathouse that housed the mechanical shark and originally belonged to Bob Carroll, who portrayed Mr. Polk and owned the boathouse itself. It was later acquired directly from his daughter and is now professionally displayed in a shadow box with a museum-style plaque. The shirt is proudly owned and generously loaned for display by Islander Nic Hathaway.
This is a rare opportunity for Jaws fans and film enthusiasts alike to see these iconic pieces in person at Return to Amity.

Special Guest Announcement: Matt Taylor Joins Return to Amity
We are proud to welcome award-winning author Matt Taylor to Return to Amity.
Matt Taylor is an award-winning author and 15th-generation resident of Martha’s Vineyard, where he lives with his wife and children. His 2011 debut book, Jaws: Memories From Martha’s Vineyard, was re-released in 2025 to commemorate the film’s 50th anniversary. In 2016, he wrote and co-published the critically acclaimed Metallica: Back to the Front, the fully authorized history of the Master of Puppets album and tour. Matt continues to preserve and share the rich history of Martha’s Vineyard through his various film projects and his upcoming book, Golden Age: The History of Fine Art on Martha’s Vineyard.
At Return to Amity, fans will have the opportunity to purchase copies of the newly revised and expanded 2025 edition of Jaws: Memories From Martha’s Vineyard, a captivating behind-the-scenes look at the making of Jaws featuring rare production photography, personal anecdotes, and firsthand accounts from the iconic film’s creation.

We are honored to welcome Christopher back to Amity, and for the first time, he’ll be signing copies of his acclaimed biography:
ROBERT SHAW: An Actor’s Life On The Set Of JAWS And Beyond
Inspired by his family’s remarkable legacy, Christopher explored the history and artistry of the Shaw family, chronicling the life of his uncle, legendary actor Robert Shaw.
Christopher says: “This is not your typical biography. Written like a novel, it tells their story the way they told it to me.” He also describes it as “a family saga” exploring Robert Shaw’s tangled roots and unusual path to stardom.
After generating tremendous buzz among fans last year, the book has quickly become a must-have for JAWS collectors and Robert Shaw admirers alike. We were honored to have Christopher join us at last year’s show, and now we’re thrilled to welcome him back!
A graduate of Trinity College and Columbia University, Christopher spent 30 years in the hi-tech industry before turning to writing. In addition to his biography, he also wrote the screenplay JAWS & Mrs. Shaw, a semi-finalist in the LA Screenwriters Awards.
