Well today @shanabruff and I moved the kiddos in to college. We are so excited for the both of them. @jacob.rufff is starting his freshman year at @usc_upstate as a student athletic. He will be continuing his track career on a collegiate level while majoring in Industrial Engineering. @sydni.ruff will begin her Sophomore year at @clemsonuniversity majoring in marketing and business. While I’m so excited and full of joy to celebrate this next season in their lives, it will take some time to adjust not having them at the house. Although they are not far at all, I’m still going to miss having them around like we have been so accustomed to. I’m so grateful for God and His continual faithfulness that we get to witness in the lives of our children. I pray for His Plans, His Purpose, His Protection, and His Provision for their lives to be upon them daily. We celebrate Juneteenth to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. The holiday marks June 19, 1865, when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that all enslaved people were free, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued by President Abraham Lincoln. I would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to @riversidewarriors@riversidetxf coaching staff for helping Jacob become a better athlete. Also, @atomicspeedtraining for taking Jacob under your wings this past summer and preparing him for the season and the seasons to come!
