Volume Up! Another work of play… when I was looking at these clips from Holy Week, I realized that I didn’t record sound all that well. Which of course is terrible, how does one sometimes forget to record audio! Hahaha! And yet also showed an opportunity to play with sound design. Hope you enjoy!

Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake. Nice and breezy when we got up there with low and fast moving clouds brushing over the tops of the rim. @robsylian gave me the idea of going for the “Caladan” look from Dune. Knowing that this “Caldera” didn’t exist before its eruption in ‘91 is pretty cool. Honestly this place does not feel like you’re in the Philippines.

My shoe soles came off within the first 50m of the trail. Haven’t not used them in so long, it’s normal that it happens. I definitely wanna thank past me for prepping my trusted pair of islanders.
You could do this with tsinelas if you wanted to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Made the trip up to Mt. Pinatubo earlier this month. Thank you for putting this random group together @nnvpena and @_lar.c 🥳
Slowly uploading these photos, been playing with some curves adjustments here and there to get a better understanding of how it works. Does it look like firm? Maybe? But in any case, I’m also making it a habit to not post in real time 👀 eme hahaha!
Keeping The Legend of Zelda vibes in Kyoto going, how can I not include one that has the “Lost Woods” theme to accompany this beautiful path.
Simply whimsical and beautiful, as well as a fitting end to all my posts from last year’s trip. (lol wala pa pics from my phone [stories nalang])

Tourists line the pathways taking selfies and photos of the trees, fall foliage in different shades of reds, yellows, and oranges are always a treat to the eyes. This is your view standing on the Tofuku-ji Tsutenkyo Bridge looking over the shallow canyon in which a small river flows. Definitely a vibe 🍁

It’s almost spring, but after a lot of busy days and reworking bits and pieces of my life, I finally got around to my fall Kyoto postcards. For whatever reason, I made a connection with the Legend of Zelda to accompany these postcards, and this last batch of posts from Japan.
Exploring what I can do with SLOG so some grading might be too much, but that’s what experimentation is for.
