Circus Couture 2025 🪡
Back in May, I was given the opportunity to model one of my own designs and help create one of the featured designs in Las Vegas’ largest professional runway: Circus Couture! This was one of the biggest opportunities I have been given and I am so grateful to have been part of something so special that benefits a very good cause.
I was part of the collaborative designer runway with the theme of Flora & Fauna! The dress I created was meant for my 18th birthday debut, but fit very perfectly for the runway as the butterfly and I was asked by @lvluplevi & the organization to walk the runway with my dress. Modeling my own design was a very special moment to me and this whole opportunity would not have been possible without my fav teacher: Mr. Harbeson. I owe him the world!! 🥹🥹
Alongside my own design, I also was part of making the featured look for the fire act @anarchy_barbie ! Mr. Harbeson entrusted me to help him with the look and together we created something beautiful, sparkly (there’s rhinestones literally everywhere), & very fireproofed! I designed & created the pants which looked very gorgeous on stage during the fire act.
Overall, this show was a lot of firsts for me. First time having featured designs & modeling!! I am so blessed to have been part of an important show that benefits @cure4thekids so be sure to watch next years and support the cause!! 🦋🦋
Little Black Dress 2025 🖤
Recently I was given the opportunity to compete in the Las Vegas Fashion Council’s Little Black Dress Event! In a time crunch, I finally found what I wanted to do and I designed and pattern drafted the garment on my own. In two weeks, I put in countless hours to construct this garment (which was very stressful) and it all became worth it in the end! I earned the Social Media, Crowd Favorite, and Professional Judging awards—sweeping the entire Emerging Designer Category! I couldn’t be more grateful for this experience. While it was stressful and frustrating at points, creating something from my own vision was very special to me. Constructing it and seeing it come to life meant a lot to me, and I’m glad to have had the opportunity and been rewarded for it. Having to model it at the event was pretty nerve racking too 😅 something I’ve never done before but being able to show off my work was amazing. Thank you to @lvfc_nv for this opportunity to showcase my work!! Thank you to all those who have continuously supported me throughout everything. Another achievement in my journey and I’m excited for what else is in store <3
