I’ve been wanting an EDC camera for a while now since my main camera is a bit big for everyday carry. I’ve honestly just been missing casual photography that doesn’t have any expectations like when it started more as a hobby. Like most photographers, I was eyeing the Fujifilm X100V/VI, but could never justify the price since it was being up-charged due to supply and demand. However, luck would have it the Fujifilm XE5 has practically the same specs (give/take a few) and I found it for a steal with the 23mm about a month ago. Since then, I’ve had it on-hand whenever it makes sense. It’s definitely been helping bring some of that spark back, and I’m looking forward to seeing what I can capture on the day-to-day.
