Big congratulations to our 2025 ReMA Recycling Contest winners 👏 This year, students took on a real challenge, creating PSAs about battery recycling and what happens when we get it wrong (and right). We received 360+ submissions from 475+ students across the country, and the work was thoughtful, creative, and impactful. 🎉 Poster Winner: Vayda LeMere 🎉 Video Winner: Cheyenne Joshi (Clover High School, SC) Their projects take a complex issue and make it clear, relatable, and worth paying attention to. We’re grateful to @we_are_rema for the partnership and to the educators who supported students every step of the way. This is what it looks like when students connect learning to the real world. #JASONLearning #ReMA #Recycling #STEM #StudentVoice #FutureReady #Sustainability

History is happening right now. On April 1, 2026, NASA launched Artemis II — sending humans toward the Moon for the first time since 1972, and the crew making that journey couldn't be more historic. Victor Glover became the first person of color, Christina Koch the first woman, Jeremy Hansen the first non-U.S. citizen, and Reid Wiseman the oldest person to travel beyond low Earth orbit and near the Moon. As pilot Glover put it, "I hope that one day it becomes not about Black history or women's history, but that it becomes human history." That's your hook — and it's sitting in your students' news feeds right now. JASON Learning, supported by the Aldrin Family Foundation, takes students back to where it all began — the original Apollo missions that proved humans could reach the Moon. Use today's headlines to bring those lessons to life. Artemis II isn't just news. It's context, it's relevance, and it's proof that the story your students are about to learn is still being written. The Moon is back in the spotlight. Make sure your students are ready for it. Are your students familiar with Tinkercad? If so, check out the Designing a Spaceship lesson from the Building a Future Ready Workforce collection as well!

🌎📚 EcoVillage is now online—for everyone!   Part 2 of our EcoVillage video series is here—and this time, we’re highlighting the why behind the program and how YOU can now bring it to your classroom for free through the JASON Learning platform.   Hear from Mary Gordon, Site Supervisor, Education Program Coordinator, and the creative force behind EcoVillage at Greenacres Foundation:   “Developing this program began when my sister and I observed our students interact by exchanging goods and services using natural objects. From there, we realized we could turn this natural behavior into a whole curriculum for students to learn, lead, and grow.” 🌿 Whether in-person or online, EcoVillage helps students in grades 3–5 become entrepreneurs, lawmakers, and environmental stewards. It’s immersive, standards-aligned, and now accessible nationwide.   👥 Watch students reflect on their journey building communities, creating local laws, and solving real-world problems—all outdoors.   💻 Now available at no cost through @jasonlearning , educators anywhere can access everything they need: step-by-step guides, videos, and classroom-ready content. Just bring your learners—and a bit of imagination.   🔗 Link in bio to explore the program and bring EcoVillage to your school.   #ecovillage #stemeducation #projectbasedlearning #greenacresfoundation #jasonlearning #environmentaleducation #futureleaders #educationforall #sustainability #handsonlearning #freeresources #civiceducation

What does it look like when sustainability, education, and community support come together? @patagoniaoldtown in Alexandria, VA, made it happen.đź’š They collected and donated gently used gear, such as jackets, packs, raincoats, and more, to help outfit our 2025 JASON Argonauts for their expedition to the Pacific Northwest. Every Argo found something useful and walked away ready to explore!
