This will definitely be one of the most special sets of the weekends! Jason Eady headlined North Springs Music Festival in 2022, the last year it was a one day event and then again on the Friday night of 2025. Adam Hood was a first timer in 2025, after finding out about NSMF through Taylor Hunnicutt.
This year, it’ll be Jason & Adam together as “Southern Brothers” with a band backing them. If you know these guys, you know their resumes are pretty full. Jason Eady has long been recognized as one of the most respected singer songwriters out of Texas with almost 10 records in the last two decades. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022 and has his own festival called “Way Down in Mississippi” that is a who’s who of independent and Americana acts.
Adam was a very welcomed late addition to NSMF 2025, but man, how fortunate were we to have him? He played solo, sang with Courtney, sang with Taylor and was also part of the finale with Them Dirty Roses. Adam was a top priority for me to bring back for 2026. While he’s also a legendary name in the Americana scene as a performer, songwriting and who has cut Adam’s songs put him on levels not many can match.
Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, Ella Langley, Whiskey Myers, Kid Rock, Travis Tritt, Brent Cobb, Cody Jinks, Lee Ann Womack are just a few of the big time names who have recorded an Adam Hood song. He has also graced the stage of the Opry.
You can find Jason & Adam near the top of the bill on Saturday, October 10, and we can’t wait!

I’ve been leaning into black & white photos a lot more lately, viewing and taking the pictures in monochrome instead of changing them later. It’s amazing what the camera lets you see when you take the color away from the very beginning. Here are some shots from New York and Spain over the last month.

I wrote “Tulsa Turnaround” with the great Ray Wylie Hubbard in the summer of 2024. We tossed around several ideas and then I told him I’d really been wanting to write something about the Tulsa sound that I’ve always loved so much. We wrote it in about an hour, working in as many Tulsa references as we could and got a good work tape to wrap it up. I’ve been playing it ever since. Not only do I love the song, but I love it so much that I wrote a whole record around it and made this the title track.

I visited 6 new National Parks on my latest run around the country these past 6 weeks. The diversity in America’s parks system is pretty incredible. This run included caves, desert, rural America, mountains, and sand dunes 30 miles from one of the biggest cities in the country.
On my mission to see all of them, I’m up to 38 with 25 left to go. This is such a rewarding challenge.

I’m incredibly excited to announce the release date of June 5, 2026 for my new album “Tulsa Turnaround”! I recorded this back in August with the incredible John Fullbright as producer! It features 10 new songs of mine and one cover of a Tulsa standard, all paying tribute to the one of a kind Tulsa Sound. Funny how the stars align sometimes, and we’re absolutely thrilled to welcome this legend to Cody and to the Blanca for an intimate acoustic show.
