Sarah & Chun Keat - A Cozy Collective ❤️
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared anything here on the feed and to be honest, I didn’t think I would. Working the Socials don’t sit well with me right now but this one? This one I’ve been keeping close to heart and I really wanted to share in this love I have for them and this day. To me, these frames hold a very distinct, quiet beauty about them. Little mundane moments in conversation filled with big feelings. Everything about this day was happy, warm, laid back, fuss free and sincere, and I think that’s why mind is so fond of the memories we made here.
Sarah is, and will always be, one of my Sunshine Brides and I am so glad we crossed paths ❤️
Two things.
1. I genuinely love making people feel seen and seeing them for who they are. I value being seen myself and I think the very notion of this flows into why I do what I do & 2. Wedding days don’t just revolve around the love you share - they are also about the love of the people around you, and I want nothing more than to be able to document the very human connections that make up your day.
Here’s a gorgeous stolen moment of a frame from Juliana & Chee Hong’s dinner reception. A moment in time documented forever, as is, of Juliana’s bestie and her baby.
Little things, big feelings ❤️
The sun was setting just as the ceremony came to a close and we found ourselves bathed in gorgeous golden hour light. It then started raining and there they were, embracing each other and everything mother nature had to offer. It wasn’t long before I caught a glimpse of a rainbow peeking through the clouds and all I thought of was how lucky we all were to be able to take it all in. Little things, big feelings ❤️
Just married, walking into a night of big time lovin’ & swing dancing ❤️
Not a fancy frame, but it’s one I feel encapsulated the sincere joy and love that surrounded them through and through.
Sweet Fact : Her hair and makeup was done by a friend and the suit Chee Hong wore that day was made by Juliana’s father, with love ❤️
A Photographic Story from Juliana & Chee Hong’s day ❤️
I photographed the most honest, stripped back, fuss-free, authentic vow exchange I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and it was the sweetest thing ever. Everything that day happened so organically and I feel so blessed to have crossed paths with such genuine souls. There is so much magic in the love and energy you share, you have no idea ❤️
So much heart went into this day and I can’t wait to tell you all about it but for now, here are some bridal appreciation in-betweens of Juliana, on her wedding day ❤️
Tender Loves, these two. I’ve said it before and I’ll said it again - there is so much magic in just letting people Be. It is in these quiet, uninterrupted instances in-between that I See You ❤️
I love telling stories. I love telling them through honest imagery even more. Here’s one that revolves around Joyce, Shaun & his little handkerchief ❤️
For my photo kaki’s 💛 all frames were taken on a Nikon Z6ii @nikonasia
