I still can’t believe it🥹 I’m forever grateful for this show and for the people I had the absolute honour of working with! The incredible crew we had that brought the show to life. It really took so much dedication, time and care, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the work of everyone! Thank you to @tapa_to and the jurors for this honour and @obsidiantheatre and @crowstheatre for bringing us together and taking a chance on Black women! I still can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to receive 2 Dora awards, 2 years in a row! It’s been an amazing journey that I’m so beyond thankful to be on! I’m blessed I get to do what I’ve loved since I was a little girl!✨🩷

The absolute love and adoration that I have for this group goes on forever and ever!! It’s hard to put into words, but I am so grateful for this moment in time when we all joined this team and came together to create an incredibly cool piece of theatre that’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before!! Playing the sport I’ve watched my entire life (and played a little too), finding a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into it, for the endless hours of dedication and determination, I’m so grateful!! For the people who’ve dedicated their lives to the game, who understand the game inside and out, who’ve supported me on this journey, I thank you!! I’m so thankful to have been apart of this amazing show and to have had the chance to bring the worlds of basketball and theatre together in this way!! So grateful we have received 6 Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations for FLEX!! Can’t wait to continue celebrating this show!!
