If you haven’t been to Taqueria La Nueva Vallarta yet, consider this your sign. This is hands-down my go-to Mexican spot in Roseville. Today was all about lunch and yapping with good food, good drinks, and the absolute best vibes.
Everything here is authentic, the service is fast, the portions are massive, and they have an entire complimentary salsa bar.
Here is exactly what we ordered:
* Piña Loca (My Favorite!): A whole pineapple stuffed with grilled and breaded shrimp, smoky bacon, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and melted cheese, served with fresh avocado and pineapple chunks. So bomb!
* Quesabirria Taco: Crispy corn tortilla with melted cheese and shredded beef, served with onions, cilantro, and savory consomé for dipping.
* Surf N’ Turf Tacos: The perfect mix of juicy shrimp and steak.
* Coctel de Camarón: Refreshing shrimp cocktail with tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeños, avocado, ketchup, and shrimp sauce, served with saltine crackers.

I finally got my hands on their mochi bites and wow—it is such a fun and innovative way to eat mochi! Loved the salted caramel cream and the cool toppings. My kids and I couldn’t get enough of the mochi bites.
