Happy National TMS Day to everyone whose brain unilaterally decided let’s just ditch serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, glutamate, and just OVERALL neural connectivity. Turns out that doesn’t feel too great, depression I’m looking it you 😒). But we keep the cortisol low around here because there are so many more treatment options outside those ever persistent prescription bottles. TMS therapy has been part of my mental health journey for years, and learning there were other options for depression besides “have you tried journaling and going on a little walk?” genuinely changed my life. For anyone unfamiliar, TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) is a non-drug treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. Which honestly sounds a little sci-fi, but so does having a brain that randomly decides emails are life-threatening. Are we evolving or?????? 🫠 What I love most is that conversations around mental health treatment are finally becoming more nuanced. Because mental health is not one-size-fits-all, and some of us were out here collecting diagnoses, burnout, anxiety, existential dread, and emotional support coping mechanisms like winning gold medals 😁 before we realized there were more options available. I know this sounds ridiculous but I had in fact NOT put too much thought into the fact that you can’t win gold medals forever 😭 nor their irreplaceable impact on your mental health and well being… but that’s a chat for another time. Today is about the amazing treatments that actually helped me feel more like myself again gave me something I hadn’t had in a long time: hope. So if you’re struggling, especially if medication or therapy hasn’t fully helped, this is your reminder that it’s okay to ask questions, explore options, and advocate for yourself. Your brain is an organ, not a moral failing. 🤍 And frankly, if my brain is going to be dramatic, at least now it’s doing it with FDA-cleared magnetic pulses involved. I don’t know why this is even a question but yes Natalie Nunn is intelligent and yes she flexed her sociology degree during that interview. Very well done. Clip from: @supremetingz

Where are the solutions? Where is the follow through showing the efficacy of your method working by stores being more inclusive? I’m starting to think the ‘Samyra parking meter outrage’ was a scheme set up by Todd for followers and clicks 😩😭

@clubquartershotels 🚨DO NOT STAY AT THE CLUB QUARTERS HOTEL WORLD TRADE CENTER HOTEL NYC🚨 Moral of the story : If something doesn’t seem right, take control of the situation IMMEDIATELY. Do not accept the bare minimum and DO NOT operate from a place of trying to appease everyone and not cause a problem.

In the world of athletics, every race tests our endurance, but @jas_blocker reminds us that mental health isn't about a finish line, it's about sharing your journey and your story as it happens.

Welcome to the NAMI Ambassador family, @jas_blocker 💚 Jasmine Blocker is a former World Champion sprinter turned wellness advocate, fashion storyteller, and powerful mental health voice. After breaking barriers as the first track athlete ever signed by Lululemon, she’s now using her platform to speak honestly about anxiety, depression, PTSD, and healing. With a psychology degree from Princeton, an MBA, and lived experience with multiple treatment paths — from SSRIs to neurofeedback to TMS — Jasmine brings both expertise and heart to every conversation. Her advocacy is grounded in community, visibility, and real-life honesty. Whether on the track, in front of the camera, or on the page, Jasmine leads with authenticity — and we’re excited to partner with her as she continues to inspire others to get help, stay connected, and put mental health first. Join us in welcoming @jas_blocker to the NAMI Ambassador community. We’re grateful to have her voice, her vision, and her courage by our side. 💚✨
