This Saturday April 25 drop in to
@insomniatoronto from 10-2AM as we welcome back resident Jay Walk and special guest DJ Cutie. Expected a warm environment with space to lounge out or move your body.
Primarily found behind the scenes or on the dance floor, Jay Walk (Jared Bishop) has been building dance music community in Toronto for over a decade. He has been an integral member of venues such as Round Venue, Body Shop Studios and now Rhythm Space. As a music selector his heart shines brightest for disco house but his experience brings vast diversity to his collection.

DJ CUTIE is a meticulous curator of sound, known for crafting sets that prioritize flow, spatial awareness, and feeling. With a deep affinity for finely tuned, progressive electronic music, they excel at selecting tracks that subtly intertwine with precision. Their sequencing is deliberate and immersive; allowing each transition to feel like a natural extension of the last, rather than a dramatic shift. Rather than chasing peaks or sentimentality, DJ CUTIE focuses on building an atmosphere that unfolds gradually and keeps listeners engaged on a more intimate level. Their performances are marked by restraint and control, favoring cohesion over spectacle. This approach creates a steady, hypnotic energy that invites audiences to lose themselves in the environment they construct. For DJ CUTIE, the goal is not to tell a story, it is to provide the soundtrack to the current chapter of the novel that is your life – The dancefloor is where you get to tell it.
