Earlier this month was the launch of @rivalsoundsystem supported by a truly elite crew of creators, community leaders, activists and artists including @kizmet32 and @connnie.o both featured in this post. They are artists who relentlessly create, in a way I find deeply admirable. They are artists who encapsulate significant cultural cross sections in Toronto, at least from my limited perspective but I know many who would agree.

This past Halloween I worked with the event production and stage design team for @ampm_toronto at Runnymede Hall. The team of @venivenif @karlskene and @calder_1 @offsite.creative were a joy and inspiring to work with. It was so fun and pretty hard to execute the visions for this party. The kind of project I am happy to be a part of

Last month I worked at @masseyhall for the first time. As a long time Toronto venue person it felt like a rite of passage, my labour contributing to a show that graces the historic stage. My role of managing road cases once their contents were loaded on stage held minimal importance but when working in a building like Massey Hall all roles felt significant. The product of our work was David Byrne’s immersive video wall and stage floor for his three sold out performances. I felt so pleased to be a gear in the machine that made it happen.
