one morning this winter i woke up in an unfamiliar room to discover that the sailboat i had been dreaming about was there with me, illuminated at the foot of the bed.
today marks the release of the music video for "Slouching Toward Bethlehem" by Devon Church.
i was very lucky to spend much of the summer of 2020 exploring the woods and rivers outside of New York City with Devon and his partner Ada Roth. we played like children, and we made weird things together.
this video is one of them. i had no idea what i was doing, which probably shows, but it was fun learning. fortunately, with Devon and Ada, i mostly just had to make sure the camera was turned on. it premieres today via @pastemagazine - link in bio etc.
