I ran the @tcsw10k@procamintl this year and managed to beat my personal record!
The event was fueled by incredible energy, with people of all ages coming out to run despite the scorching #Bengaluru heat.
While analyzing my chip timings and race rank (a first for me!), I noticed a striking statistic: out of 15,896 total runners, women made up less than 20% of the participants across all categories.
#WomenOfIndia, where are you? We need more representation on the ground!

All my life I have been so obsessed with #mountains that the island country was not even on my bucket list.

I started my hiking journey back in 2014 with this very trek.
Back then, I never thought I would end up pursuing mountaineering, building a social community @the_eco_wanderer centered around hiking or explore speed hiking some day!
Hiking the same trail after so many years made me realize how much has changed in my life, except for one thing - my love for the Himalayas!
It felt truly like my way back home, from where it all started!

It’s a rare treat when someone else initiates the hike especially @the_eco_wanderer style, and I was beyond happy to lead the way for @_chopraraghav who was in the city for work.
We cleared 7kg of waste from #UttariBetta this time—marking my second weekend in a row there. After two consecutive weekends on these trails, that’s 13kg of waste officially off the mountain. 🌎💪
Nothing beats leaving the mountains better than we found them. Manifesting more of this! ✨

#Uttaribetta is a famous hiking trail in the outskirts of #bengaluru. I see a lot of groups planning to visit Uttaribetta every weekend, naturally with such a large footfall, there is scope of littering too.
I was surprised to see very little garbage across the trail, maybe it was burnt off along with the dry grass ( a practice here in this dry and hot weather) or maybe the trail was genuinely clean!
My group of 10 explored the hillock and cleaned up litter; some wrappers scattered here and there. We collected ~6kgs of plastic waste from the trail to dispose of at the waste collection centre.
It was a well spent saturday morning!
