Culmination of the Artemis II week.
Extremely proud of Dianne! In her work with NASA, she is an integral part of the toxicology team that keeps every NASA astronaut safe from anything that they can possibly come into contact, and that includes any and all exposure to every particle in a payload or crew quarters - even water. Her work doesn’t just stop here because it is an ongoing endeavor, which encompasses future explorations and current low earth orbit programs, like the ISS.

We did a quick stop here after grabbing coffee and breakfast on our way to our first official stop in St. Louis, MO. Our final destination for this drive was Toronto, ON.

I find it fascinating that a man-made structure in an urban setting is the centerpiece of a national park. The monument celebrates the country’s advancements in industrialization and colonization, but is also a reminder of the country’s disregard of the others’ voices and lives and the suppression of the truth. It embodies “history is written by the victors and framed according to the prejudices and bias existing on their side.”

It has been such a blessing to witness you grow from a pensive teenager to a doting father. You have always been our quiet strength, our anchor when things get rough. Here’s to 40++ more years of us making your hair more gray! (Looks good on you though!)
