【ROOZENITH — / root to zenith 】
From a single piece of metal, a single philosophy.
It is both the origin of structure and a symbol of completion.
What Kohei Nishimura pursued was not “maximum performance,” but “the structure that becomes the standard itself.”
By relentlessly pursuing the precision of the player’s core axis, ROOZENITH was born.
It is a yo-yo that encapsulates both the origin (Root) and the apex (Zenith) within a single piece of metal.
【About the Engraving】
The “Z” placed around the outer rim stands for Zenith, representing apex points that exist in every direction.
The tilt of the Z represents “an apex that never rests” — the ideal that is always in motion.
The reversed engraving on one side reflects the origin of the name ROOZENITH — “Root + Zenith = uniting the two poles of above and below with a single axis.”
This expresses ROOZENITH as an existence without top or bottom.
<Concept>
From the origin to the apex.
With a single material, to the extreme of structure.
“ROOZENITH” is a coined term combining Root (/root = the highest-level directory in a system) and Zenith (apex, highest point).
“Root” is the reference point — the starting place from which everything begins.
“Zenith” is the point of completion — the extreme point where technique and philosophy intersect.
As the axis that connects these two, ROOZENITH pursues a purity that can only be achieved through a monometal structure.
The result is Kohei Nishimura’s signature yo-yo, ROOZENITH.
<Design Philosophy>
• Material: Monometal (single-material construction)
→ A pure composition that embodies the concept of “Root.”
→ With no joints or connections, the yo-yo itself exists as a single reference point.
• Performance:
→ A completed design achieved through shape and weight distribution, without relying on rim weighting alone.
→ Consequently, the player’s trajectory, awareness, and precision all emerge as the “standard.”
• Philosophy:
→ Not a yo-yo meant to be “someone else's model,” but a yo-yo that becomes the “standard” itself.
→ An existence that serves as a reference point of structure and philosophy for every trick and every player.
