✨ chapter 35 ✨
what i want to talk about as i enter my 35th rotation around the sun is:
fear and how it isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
as many of you may know, this year i left my serving job to focus on starting my own business, and for those who have done this knows how scary it can be. the feeling of uncertainty and asking myself “did i make a mistake? will i succeed?” is inevitable; however, the feeling of watching my life go by was even scarier.
for the latter half of 2025 i was feeling a huge pull from the universe to make the jump and my gut has yet to steer my wrong.
another reason i wanted to start my own business and work for myself is because i do have fear sometimes that i’m just watching my life go by while others are living theirs. one of my goals is to be able to work remotely anywhere in the world, so i can experience this world. this world is meant to be seen.
although this year i’m feeling the fear and not knowing what’s coming next, my mother always taught me: fear is temporary and once it subsides, we become a better version of ourselves. feeling fear just means i’m currently living outside my comfort zone; however, by existing outside of where i’m comfortable, it forces my comfort zones to grow and when my comfort zone is done growing, the fear will be gone and now i’ll be able to do bigger and scarier things.
right now i’m living outside my comfort zone, feeling that fear and accepting it.
thank you for all your continued love, support, and energy that inspires ME to live authentically and take up space unapologetically.
so, cheers to 35 and cheers to being 2 femme 4 them.
