As we wrap up a semester filled with incredible student creativity across @lausdschools , we are proud to celebrate students who exemplify what it means to be #LAUSDScholarArtists.
Thank you to our schools, teachers, and arts partners for guiding students as they created inspiring artwork, music, theatre productions, film, dance performances, and so many joy-filled holiday concerts.
We wish our entire LAUSD family joy, peace, and warmth as we celebrate the connections and unique voices our students share with the world through the arts.

Nothing like singing with some of my favorites with a true legend (John Legend) to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl. What a time and whirlwind of a moment! It was the 14th anniversary since I first sang at the Bowl with Roger Daltrey (The Who). Oh and there were so many friends from along the journey- from my LAPhil peeps from Get Out (in concert) to the amazing conductor whose direction I last sang under at the San Bernardino Symphony— and all of my dear friends and Momma who happened to be in the audience. I will never forget the magic❤️
