„Curious“ ist die Verbildlichung von einer Emotionalen Auseinandersetzung.
Visuell zeigt die Reihe eine lange und verwirrten Reise, die in einer teils zerstörten aber vor allem verdrehten Welt endet.
Die Begegnung seiner Selbst in invertierter Form sorgt für eine Selbsterkenntnis und dem Ausweg aus einer Ausweglosen Situation.
„Sich Selbst Finden“ durch Neugierde, der Suche nach etwas anderem und dem Mut diesem zu Begegnen.

Die Bilder sind Digital erstellt und nachbearbeitet mithilfe von analogen schwarz-weiß Artefakten welche mit HP5 400 aufgenommen und über verschiedene experimentelle Entwicklungsprozesse entstanden sind.

So I made some tshirts ^^
Not really any specific reason other than I wanted to try it and I was looking for something fun to do in a course about old tales.
.
The shirts design itself is telling the route (at least the one thought of by various sources) the characters take in the tale called "Nibelungen".
The font is inspired by runes which were still a lot more common in the time the tale is playing and from the area in which it plays the most.
The back of the shirt shows a big splatter of blood and a leaf which symbolises the act of Siegfried bathing in the dragons blood after slaying it to become invulnerable. Additionally the leaf also represents the mark Krimhilde made on top of Siegfried's cloths in order to protect him, which caused his death.

The story is pretty wild and I had a lot of fun exploring it and the many different variations in which it is told. To then eventually come up with a design that tries to encompass at least a little bit of what makes that story so interesting.

In case you are curious the tshirts were printed at the Hochschule Mainz by @alice.nohn and myself by using silkscreen printing with two colors on the front and back.
It took forever but was a lot of fun regardless :)

Natural Lightshow ^^

I was at a surfcamp with my university and whilst at most days people tried to organize a small party at the beach it was always pretty dark except on the last day, where nature itself was providing the Lightshow for it.
People dancing at the beach whilst all hell breaks loose on the ocean in front of us was pretty sick haha.
.
Anyways in order to capture that I was taking dozens of long term exposures over the span of an hour or so just to have a chance of capturing the perfect lightning strike.
In the end I choose two different ones and stitched them together to one image :) (a little bit of cheating ofc)

The last slide is a time lapse of all the exposures I took in one angle which looks pretty wild ^^

Mein Versuch den Mond mal ordentlich zu Fotografieren haha. Eines tages schaffe ich es vllt auch mal mit einem guten Objektiv aber bis dahin muss es auch so gehen. Mein setup bestand aus einem 500mm Spiegeltele objektiv, einem zweifach vergrößerer und das ganze an einem adapter um von PK auf EF für meine #sony #a7iii zu kommen.
Das ganze natürlich nicht etwa auf einem stativ sondern einfach irgendwie auf den Boden gelegt xD.

Der Mond war nicht unbedingt so rot wie hier aber etwas farbe ist nicht schlecht dachte ich ^^

These shots were made with my #sony #a7iii and a #sigma 28-70 f2.8 at the @bel.r.festival in Rüsselsheim am Main.
Aside from a long shutter, movement und color grading I also overlayerd various Textures I found at the festival site to increase the grain and texture naturally.
