Excited to finally share our
@webflow studio –
@divblockers .
As many of you know, I’ve been working as a Webflow Expert for the last 5-6 years. Back in 2021, client requests and recommendations started pouring in, so I reached out to someone I remembered from a CLUBHOUSE session (remember Clubhouse? 🤯). What was initially meant to offload some work quickly turned into me fully relying on
@tomasmrazek92 for everything. Time flew by, and almost 4 years later, I’m still amazed I convinced someone to quit their job and go freelance 🫠
Over the last 2 years, we’ve gone from working with small startups to being part of 4 enterprise-level clients. We’ve tackled projects for companies I never imagined we’d work with. A huge thank you goes to our friends at
@metalab , with whom we’ve worked on over 100 projects since a simple Facebook message kicked off our collaboration. For those who know me, you’ll know we’ve always pushed the limits of how many clients you can handle at once!
Today marks the first day we’re officially launching—not just “me and my partner” in email threads, but DivBlockers with an actual website and even a form you can fill out if you want to work with us. It’s no longer just the two of us. A big shoutout to
@janr28 , who, though often behind the scenes, has been critical in turning client fires into happy clients. We joke that he’s our “Divs Janitor,” but he’s been a part of this wild ride all along.
Enjoy the site! Even though I haven’t designed anything in 5 years, I’m still proud of this project. It’s been over 1.5 years in the making (yes… over a year, though we’ve only worked on it during 6-7 separate occasions). I’m so excited about the fun little details—click on the logo, press ESC on our 404 page, and explore. We wanted to keep it as much as straight to the point—show our work, share a bit about us, and explain our process. But in this industry, you have to stand out, so we’ve added our own twist.
With love to Div Blocks, Jan.
P.S.: Thanks to
@call.me.johnnie for the initial explorations and brainstorms. Thanks to
@klaralosert for the hours or working with me on the copy.
