🌙 And so the next journey begins ✨ Last week I welcomed this magical being from @starfishharps . I’ve been exploring folk and Celtic playing for a while now and knew I needed just the right harp. She journeyed from her birthplace in the wintry Scottish Highlands to a humid Brisbane summer in a matter of days, tucked into a custom-made flight case (how glorious). Having such a portable harp feels quietly life-changing. It opens the door to so many new places and allows me to share music in ways that simply aren’t possible with a pedal harp. Oh to the adventures that lie ahead, and the stories and songs waiting to be gathered. 📸 @ruairi_dollard

Offering these spaces of collective contemplation - inviting moments of spaciousness and softening can feel absurd in the shadow of the world’s wars and climate cries. Yet we come to the practice of yoga not to escape the suffering of this world - but to feel resourced enough to stay inside it. To compost what can otherwise stay stuck or flood our systems entirely. A way to peer into the nature of reality - to hold multiple truths, without feeling eaten by them. To quote a dear mentor Sarah Ball « It doesn’t mean it’s enough, but it’s one way to remember the body, to re-thread people to themselves and each other in a world that keeps pulling us apart » Sometimes a shifting and a softening takes place. Allowing us to move through life with a soft belly and strong back. Some spots left for our restorative yoga with live harp. Link in bio. No mud, no lotus 🪷
