Grateful to have been part of the teaching faculty at the “Sound of Percussion” Festival in Riga and Ventspils, Latvia — such a well-organized and welcoming event by @guntars_freibergs .
Thanks for the inspiring days full of masterclasses, lessons, and fantastic concerts by teachers and students from different European percussion classes.
Very happy I could share this experience with my percussion students from Rostock as well.

Last month, the percussion class of the Rostock University of Music presented a wonderful 12th Night of Percussion. We will deeply miss you, Theresia Seifert, @hennfinnes , @just_tiggi , and @fernanpercussion , who have now completed their studies in Rostock and gave their final performance at @hmt_rostock .
After years of amazing and creative input for our class and all the chamber music projects, we’re incredibly grateful — and we’re sure our paths will cross again. Wishing you all the very best!
But life goes on — we’re already looking forward to the 13th Night of Percussion, which will take place on May 20th, 2026. And also big thanks to @robinson.krueger@hannes.papenbrock@juan_tr11 and @qifan_drum for your fantastic input - but your work this semester is not over yet ;-)
