Semester 13 at Berklee: in the books. 🎶
A mind-blowing night celebrating the Class of 2026, honoring Jacob Collier, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Jill Scott — with the best company in the world: my children.
Music, family, Berklee magic. @berkleecollege
A veces, el romántico no necesita amar menos.
Necesita ver mejor.
Mi nuevo sencillo “Romántico” sale oficialmente el 22 de mayo de 2026.
Una canción sobre aprender a mirar una historia con honestidad:
reconocer lo malo como lo que es, sin borrarlo;

ENGLISH VERSION
AI is already changing music.
And this conversation is only beginning.
In this new episode of Music & AI / Música e IA, I asked two very direct questions:
Would you rather lose a job to another musician… or to AI?
Should AI learn from artists without their permission?
Huge thanks to Jose @josema.er and Ximena @kiwii_46 for joining this conversation and sharing their perspectives.
And thanks as well to Dani for sharing the Times video that inspired this reflection.
This is only the beginning.
AI is already here.
The question now is how we are going to protect artists, human labor, and music.
Now I want to ask you:
Should AI learn from artists without their permission? #musicandai #MúsicaEIA #IAymúsica
AI is already making music.
Creating songs.
Cloning voices.
Shifting the industry.
So I went to @berkleecollege to ask one question:
“If an AI song made you cry, would you still call it art?”
Thank you to everyone featured in this video:
@mayabommelaere@mayanabaker@Morgan_soukup@lysset_studtio@_pscin_
Featuring Maya Bommelaere, Mayana Baker, Morgan Soukup, Cecilia Vera, and Estefan Mendoza.
This is Music & AI.
And this is only the beginning.
What do you think?
If an AI song made you cry, would you still call it art?
Tell me in the comments.
Ahora te pregunto a ti:
¿qué puede hacer un músico humano que la IA nunca podrá hacer?
(English)
AI has officially entered music.
And this is only the beginning.
Thanks to Niko Manja 🇲🇽 (@nikomanja ) and Juan Pablo Rivera🇲🇽 (jhaypi.wav) for being part of this first conversation in Music & AI / Música e IA.
Now I want to ask you:
What can a human musician do that AI never will?
I thought being romantic was a strength.
Sometimes it blinds you.
“Romántico.”
Coming soon.

I’m turning 40 today — and still listening.
I’m deeply grateful to every single one of you who has been part of my life and my journey so far. Each connection, lesson, and shared moment has shaped who I am today.
And as a single dad, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for my children — they are my greatest teachers, my strongest motivation, and my deepest joy.
As Carl Jung said:
“Life really begins at 40.”
Here we go. 🤍
Closing 2025 at the Indianapolis 500 🏎️ felt like more than a moment—it felt like a mirror.
A reminder that growth isn’t linear, and progress rarely comes without curves.
2025 pushed us through uncertainty, sudden turns, and moments that asked more from us than we expected—yet, looking back, every curve carried a lesson, a blessing, or quiet protection we couldn’t see at the time.
Same track. New lap. New wisdom.
Wishing you all a gentle, grounded, and meaningful 2026. 🏁
Closing the year wrapped in love.
Sharing this moment with my family, feeling history unfold right in front of us.
We may have witnessed Philip Rivers’ final game—a Hall of Famer, a legacy, a moment frozen in time.
Even with the loss, the experience was magical. Being there, together, felt bigger than the score.
Live moments hit the heart in a way no screen ever could.
Ending the year grateful, present, and full of love.
Sending everyone all my love and the very best for 2026. ❤️ @colts
Today my little Queen Esperanza turned 6, and my heart feels bigger than ever. 🎉🙌🏼🎂🍰
Being a single dad, watching both Esperanza and Alessandro grow into such loving, curious, joyful little humans is the greatest blessing of my life.
I’ve been planning a tiny overnight birthday surprise for weeks, wanting her morning to feel magical. Today I woke up early to do her special birthday hairstyle, and I made sure she had six little gifts—one for every precious year she has filled my world with light.
At her school celebration, surrounded by her sweet classmates, cupcakes, books, laughter, and that beautiful chaos only children can create, she absolutely radiated joy. Every child was adorable, every moment felt like a gift, and I found myself feeling so grateful just to be her dad.
To mark her special day, I shared with her one of my favorite poems:
“But now I am Six,
I’m as clever as clever.
So I think I’ll be six now
Forever and ever.”
—A.A. Milne
Happy 6th Birthday, my Queen Esperanza.🍰🎂
And to my dear Alessandro—thank you for being the brightest part of our little universe.
You two are my life. ❤️❤️❤️
Life moves fast, but when we stop and remember the good moments, everything feels lighter, brighter, and more meaningful. These pictures from our San Francisco trip remind me how important it is to hold on to those memories!
