I noticed that these pictures wasn’t on my Instagram page, so I’m sharing it now, better late than never, right?
It was about this time of the year when I took these pictures, many years ago. At that time I was studying clasical music at the conservatory in the north of Sweden and I had just started to make my own music aswell. The music that ended up on this EP was a study of the nature up there with the deep forests and the long dark winters.
I’m so glad it got released on @hypnusrecords and I’m beyond greatful for all the places it took me and all the people I got to meet through it. Still after all these years I recieve lovely words about it, making me feel so thankful and blessed!
Years ago I was asked to make a remix of a song called Virunga. It appears on this beautiful record made by Kalawila. Released on his label Mountain Explosion Device ⛰
This is a dear memory of mine, when I got invited to play my first live-set in a tunnel in Gothenburg. These minutes are from the intro. I remember that it was windy, the summer was still around the corner. But I felt warm from the energy of the people who showed up, such a nice night!
