Female-founded in 2025 by former chef Tahi and her husband Patrick, JAMU was created to offer a better-for-you soft drink that’s also better for the planet.
Rooted in sustainability, they work with responsibly sourced botanicals and pledge 1% of sales to restoring UK seagrass meadows — helping protect ocean health for the future.

We are proud to be supporting The Ocean Conservation Trust’s Mini Meadows, protecting and restoring our vital native seagrass meadows.
Seagrass is one of the most beautiful and biodiverse habitats on the planet. It provides multiple benefits to the environment, people and the planet. Seagrass meadows are a haven for biodiversity, providing nurseries for commercially important fish species. They absorb and store vast amounts of carbon and remove chemical elements that cause harmful algal blooms. Where they are present and healthy, they can prevent erosion of our coastlines by anchoring sediments to the seabed. Many people value the natural beauty, cultural heritage and tranquillity of these ecosystems, which is invigorating for their mental and physical wellbeing. Since the 1930’s, up to 90% of seagrass beds have been lost, largely through physical disturbance, pollution, and disease. When seagrass meadows are damaged or degraded, the environmental benefits they provide are lost. By supporting the Ocean Conservation Trust, we are helping to protect seagrass meadows that already exist, and over the longer-term, helping to restore seagrass meadows that have been lost.

After a week of rain, the clouds parted, revealing a stunning day on the South Coast.
