Shots from Datascape Ft. Jivraj Singh live at Skinny Mo's
The project masterfully fused jazz improvisation with glitchy textures and Indian classical undertones. The crowd was spellbound by the vinyl sampling over live guitar, bass drums and electronics.
The Lineup:
Agneesh Dutta – Guitar
Swarnavo Datta – Drums

Day two of the Skinny Mo’s Jazz Weekender turned up the heat with the Amyt Datta Electric Power Quartet (ADEPQ). Association with @greaterthangin
The room was electric and smoky as the legend Amyt Datta led the way. With his incredible band on top of their game, the evening centered on originals blending jazz traditions with the raw energy of rock and a hint of eastern influences .The set was characterized by tight arrangements and bold improvisation, creating a dynamic atmosphere that held the room’s attention from start to finish.

What a three-day run this turned out to be.
Skinny Mo’s Jazz Weekender in association with @greaterthangin was something else.
Three days, three completely different takes on jazz.
Day one with White Lies — originals, beautifully twisted standards, and that playful crowd interaction.
Day two with the Amyt Datta Electric Power Quartet, bringing a full surge of electric energy into the room.
Day three closed out with SmokeSignal on the decks, taking jazz into dance territory. It built into a proper party and felt like the right kind of ending.
Big thank you to everyone who showed up and was part of it.
