In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are honoured to share this short film with painter @harrietpattinsonart
What began as a serendipitous introduction slowly unfolded into something enduring.
Across a year, conversations lived quietly inside the studio — unguarded, searching, precise yet spontaneous.
Filmed by director Jacqui Free-Sze @byjacqui in the in-between moments of early motherhood, her five-month-old daughter strapped gently to her chest, an iPhone in hand.
No set.
No spectacle.
Just a camera bearing witness to devotion —
to process,
to mastery,
to the unseen labour behind the canvas.
This is a short film following Harriet Pattinson and her search for essence —
where painting becomes a language for the stories that live beneath the surface.
