It's with broken hearts that we must announce the passing of our beautiful Mother Mary.
Mum suffered a stroke while she was training on Monday morning.
She had her final moments in the place she loved, doing the thing she loved, surrounded by the people she loved.
We appreciate all of the messages and apologise if we haven't yet responded.
Mum was an amazing person with with endless love for all that came into contact with her, and will forever be remembered for the legacy she left behind as person, as an athlete, as a friend, as a mother.
If you knew her, you loved her. It was impossible not to.
Not a day wasted, and every minute lived to fullest. All way the to 76.
We ask all that had the privilege of having mum in their lives, share photos and stories with us.
We invite you to pay respects and join us in celebrating her amazing existence next Friday.
Mum's service will be held at Franklin Grove, Launceston on Friday 13th December, at 2.30pm.

🎆50kg Down!🎆
@jay_p_mcdonald
Jay’s story isn’t just about weight loss.
It’s about choosing life when the odds weren’t in his favour.
Nearly 150kg. Years of unhealthy habits. Patterns that were quietly destroying his future. A road that only ever ends one way if you stay on it.
At one point, we had the hard conversation — nobody is coming to save you. A tragic story ending waits for no one.
He responded.
Not perfectly. Not instantly.
At the start, he tried. Failed. Reset. Tried again. Lost weight. Regained it. Learned. Adjusted. Kept going.
Three and a half years later: 50kg gone.
Locked-in nutrition. Structured training. A new mindset. A new life. And absolute respect for himself.
Jay now learns the “why”, not just the “what”. He’s invested in his health, his longevity, and his future.
Proud doesn’t come close to covering it.
Being a small part of this journey means more than he knows. This is what true perseverance looks like.
