Welllllppppp, we almost did the dang thing at our HOME race, @ctmpofficial !🇨🇦 I have a lot of people to thank..thank you @baker.racing for building such a safe car that also was an ABSOLUTE rocket ship 🚀 Thank you to the @amr_social team and the CTMP medical team for taking swift action. Thank you to my team mate @sam.baker51 for being an absolute stud and absolutely dominating his stint, you are quite literally my bro driver and best friend. Thank you @db2452 for your commitment and incredible level of work ethic and dedication, it is inspiring and I’m so grateful to be a part of it🙏🏼 You know it is crazy, you race against some of the best drivers in touring car on the planet, and you’d expect a bit of “argy bargy” so to speak, but what happened yesterday has no place in pro racing or any racing for that matter. To put it simply, it was disgraceful. NOW, the silver lining is that this has lit a fire under every single member of @baker.racing and we are coming for W’s. Growing up as aspiring race car driver, this event was a dream to be able to come to and I always dreamt of just making it to Lemans as a fan let alone as part of an incredible team of individuals who left nothing on the table and came across the world to see where we stacked up. This past week was truly special, and there are so many things I want to say but I cannot form them right this second probably due to being exhausted. Man the whole Baker Racing team killed it out in California for this past weekends race @weathertechraceway ! I made a huge mistake and ran the pit exit while the pit closed light was on, so this one I take on the chin and apologies to the team for taking away our chance at a top result. There were a ton of positives to take away from the weekend though..the boys and girls crushed it in pitlane and back at the garage, our cars are developing and getting better week in and week out and @sam.baker51 is absolutely crushing it and putting us in positions to fight for big points. 42 hours of racing in Florida complete. We leave @sebringraceway in the fight for this championship as we just keep focussing on our long run pace and staying out of trouble.
