Last Friday I had my first professional speaking gig at the AIGA National conference! I’ve done a variety of talks throughout school but this is definitely a milestone. My expectations were blown away when the room was PACKED and people were turned away at the door. Looking forward to doing more of this in the future.
I promise the first photo wasn’t staged. A weekend doing some of my favourite things. Ran my first 10k, practised my coffee game, met up with designers/artists, had ramen and beer, spent time outside. What a weekend.
Had too much caffeine so decided to practice latte art without caffeine. I used food coloring for the espresso base and water with just a few drops of dish soap for the milk. This is a great way to be economical on your milk and beans and just get some practice in.
