What a night! Thank you everyone that made it out to the San Diego premiere of our new movie we made with Los Locos and Costa. We will release the movie on YouTube this summer, so if you missed it, hang tight.
Thanks for hosting us Dana Landing, Fast Lane and Salty Crew. Thanks to Los Locos, Costa, Coronado Brewing for the suds, Puerto for the epic tunes, Charlies for the Tacos, CCA, all the donations for the raffle, Amadeo, everyone that cruised through! It was super special to get everyone together to celebrate the fishing and surfing community! Thanks to Jared for making this whole thing possible!

One week has passed since returning from a shoot in the sacred zone of Bahia Magdalena. I’m still coming down from outer space. Thanks so much to the crew at Los Locos for hosting an insane week of fishing, surfing, arm wrestling, and laughs! Good times with great people! Couple of my fav shots and flavors in this post without leaking the whole shoot, as well as some iPhone goodies sprinkled in. Highlights include watching Rudy bomb casts at Marlin slicing baitballs, jumping in with Tehotu, belly laughs at the bar, perfect pour Ranch Waters, 5 star meals after adventuring all day, jumping marlin, tide line combing, new friends, small town vibes, and getting to hook a marlin on the fly for myself - a major bucket list event! Thank you Salty Crew, Los Locos and Costa!
We hid from the wind, while gladly taking the sun, as we slid down the coast en route to the Southern Isle. The water was as clear as I’ve ever seen. The bottom shined up at us, and we could see schools of fish cruising around below the gleam of the surface.
As we drifted down the edge of the reef, the guys threw poppers at the cracks, in hopes of an explosive bight from a thugged out reef dweller. I flew the drone and was tripping on how sick the waves looked! One of my favorite drone shots from our trip last year in Fiji aboard Sukha 🚁 @salty_crew
Happy Anni Amy! Thank you for making the world a better place! Time flies when you are having fun! 15 years just ripped by. Love you to the moon!
Photo 1 is from the day we got engaged. We were camping in San Elijo in my folks cruisy little camper. Our buds Eric and Lauren met up after I popped the Q and Eric grabbed this rad polaroid. I’ll cherish this moment forever.
Photo 2 was also shot by Eric, or Bob. Our best friends shot our wedding on all sorts of cameras and film stock. They did such a great job capturing the day creatively. This was cross processed E100VS I believe. And a custom frame built by Burb out of Javanese boatwood he gave us for a wedding present. Beyond rad. It hangs in our hallway, we see and enjoy it every day.
Photo 3 is from our honeymoon in Huatulco, MX. We were chillin on the beach and a pangero captain asked if we wanted to go fishing. He took us out and we wrangled a solid Dorado. He prepped ceviche for us in a rad little bahia, we snorkeled and ate the fish on the beach. His novia took this photo for us on my Dad’s 35mm OM1.
Photo 4 is from a beach day Amy and I had out front of where we live in Oside. We look like groms! I shot it on a little duaflex camera I scored at a thrift shop.
Photo 5 - We made a pitstop on our way back from the beach wedding at Fallbrook Golf Course to say hi to our friends and coworkers (I bartended there for many fun years). Fun little sunshine photo moment captured by Bob and Eric.
