Pure insanity wrapped in jumpsuits and jet fuel.
These guys were ALWAYS down for a good time — photo shoots, backstage chaos, whatever. But shooting them live?
Man… that was an occupational hazard.
You didn’t just take photos of Slipknot…
You risked your life and your dental records.
Bodies flying, gear exploding, percussionists climbing structures they absolutely should NOT have been on — and Jim?
Jim’s guitar tone didn’t just melt faces…
It stripped layers off your bones.
You left the pit spiritually changed and partially sandblasted.
Still one of my favorite eras, favorite tours, and favorite dudes to work with.
Slipknot in 2004 was a different species of chaos — and I loved every second of it.
