Before James Bott earned his place as La Mezcaleria Ajijic’s resident DJ, he was a young crate digger in Banbury, England. His dedication to providing a
quality night club experience is demonstrable through his live performances and is key to his role as a co-cultivator of the unique atmosphere quickly gaining notoriety at La Mezcaleria Ajijic. Just as he pushes himself to keep his mixes fresh and true to the vision shared by those at the club, James is rigorous in developing his chops as a producer. His focus on Minimal and Microhouse and anything in-between has come to a refined point, and having released tracks on a plethora of labels such as Between Dimensions, Puls, Unknown Series , Need for Sound and many more, he anticipates more releases soon, signed and independently. He is member of LOSH, a Guadalajara based collective, record label and event organizers where they throw parties from time to time, bringing to the city new proposals and new sounds.
