“Wolves” is OPEN! 🐺🏛️📸 “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan” presents stunning photography and videos of wild wolves living in two very different environments: the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in the American West and Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic. “Wolves are such a fascinating animal to me because of how complex their relationship is with humans,” #NatGeoExplorer Ronan Donovan @ronan_donovan says. “Wolves were the first animals humans domesticated some 30,000 years ago and they have lived alongside us ever since as guardians, workers, and companions.” Donovan hopes that his photos will provide people with a better understanding of these often misunderstood animals. He also hopes they will see wolves as they are: powerful, intelligent, social mammals that have evolved to live in family structures similar to humans. “Wolves” is on view now through September 7, 2026 at The James Museum. “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan” is a traveling photography exhibit curated by The National Museum of Wildlife Art @wildlifeartjh and the National Geographic Society @natgeomuseum . #DTSP #Wolves #NatGeo #ArtMuseums

“Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)” is an award-winning puzzle platformer that follows the epic journey of an Iñupiaq girl named Nuna and her companion Fox as they try to save their home from an eternal blizzard. Developed by E-Line Media in collaboration with the Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC), the game celebrates and shares Alaska Native culture with a large audience. The version of the game in our New West gallery is about 10 minutes long, to give players an overview of the story and game mechanics. “Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)” is on view now through June 25, 2026. Have you ever wondered about parking at the museum? 🤔   We are located at 150 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. While there is paid street parking available, there is also a parking garage behind the museum entrance!   You can park on levels 3 & 4 of the automated South Core Parking Garage, the entrance is at 101 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.   Most days, parking is only $2 per hour and can be paid with cash or card in the garage or at the kiosk on the corner of the block. During downtown events the pricing can increase to a $10 flat fee for the whole day. You’re within walking distance of Beach Drive, the Sundial, bars, clubs and even a few other museums!   #DTSP #VSPC #IGERSStPete #TampaBay #StPeteFL
