I started working with Thomas and James on Faces back in November 2023. We had a zoom call whilst I was in the UK about shooting a WW1 short film and all the challenges that would come with bringing this film to life. The crew we managed to pull together on this absolutely nailed the vision and made the entire shooting experience one of my favourites. I managed to direct the new music video for @nocigarmusic the week before flying to my new home 🇬🇧 Shooting for the boys has been a little dream of mine for the last few years and just want to thank them for allowing me to not be only be apart of it but running with my ideas throughout the process. Shot this alongside the incredibly talented @richard.surrey who made the camera package look effortless 🎞️ @codey_allen & @tasmanvance were our wonderful leads who made this their own! BODIES @gretavdb Always chasing the dream of making movies and my bro we’ve gone and done it. This one’s a testament to what you can do if you find a creative team as insane as you are. Huge privilege to be able to work with a team of this calibre. Self-producing and directing something like this is a stupid idea but it keeps working. I still haven’t learnt my lesson so we will go again. You don’t need to wait to make the stuff you want. If you have an idea and you’re excited about it just run it. The fire is contagious, everyone wants to make cool shit. Again thanks to the crew, actors and stunt performers on this. So many talented minds donated their time and skills to this one, really took it to a whole nother level. Went to the island and found love (my sweet ENG “cine” crew ). Made some lifelong friends and had an absolute blast. Love Island has always been the golden goose since I started filming reality, so to be a part of not only this season but with this team was a real treat! Met the hardest working DP in Casey who makes this show pop, Sophie who is the only person I can imagine steering this ship, Frenchie and Geeza were an absolute privilege to shoot alongside, Clifford is an aerial genius and forever the calmest man in the room (aftersun shack), Toby you are a LEGEND and a beautiful person, Alan and Elizer always making the late nights more enjoyable and my boys T, Jone and Geoff… you are the heart of this team!!!
