Here is art that I created to celebrate Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend held at the Orleans Hotel Casino. I was there a few years ago and had the best time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it this year but I am there in spirit!
With this piece, I was trying to practice the pin-up art style and my painting technique in which I chose the subject of a “Rockabilly chic” in the same pose as the iconic “Vegas Vicky” that once resided on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.

Back in 2020, I was a Director on t’he children’s show, Action Pack’ for Netflix.
Before we went into full production there was a need to provide experimental animation for the outsourced studio to show how the characters might use their super powers. Usually, an Animation Supervisor would be responsible for overseeing this process but the show didn’t have one. Fortunately, by hiring me, they had someone who could both direct and animate!
Here is a compilation of the tests that I created. Note: I left the drawings rough because the show was to be done with CG so there was no need to provide a detailed model. It was mostly for style and concept.
The last test is an example of the result that the outsourced studio would achieve.
1.) “Mason” transforming into a boulder
2.) “Treena” using her plant-like powers (I.E. a Dandelion umbrella a la “Mary Poppins”)
3.) “Wren” transforming into various animals (a duck)
4. & 5 ) “Watts” who could run really fast and get from here to there “lightning quick”!
