Don’t tend to post much about work on social media, but here we go. It’s a scary time for us freelancers in the film/tv industry. The covid-19 pandemic has meant many productions have (rightly) either been placed on hiatus or have shut down entirely. The work is often somewhat seasonal anyway, and spring is normally the time where the industry starts to gear up for a busy, prosperous summer. Looks like this year’s gonna be a little bit different.
Lots of worried industry folk out there right now I’m sure - me among them. So instead of dwelling, I felt like sharing a few memories of the good times. Despite the anxieties of freelancing, I love the job I do, and I feel fortunate to get to to it with some truly ace people.
