I woke up very early this morning, about 4:30 AM, and decided to sit in the living room and play some guitar to warm-up for some recording I have to do later… Morphy had other plans, so he just crawled right up onto me, jumped over the guitar and landed on my chest, and just let his weight push the guitar down onto my lap, then promptly went to sleep. Quality time with my boy 😼
A little bit of fear is good, it means you know where you are on the totem pole, and keeps you from getting cocky... too much fear though can cockblock your ability to learn from these experiences, and that would be a shame because they can be goldmines.
My dad has been playing acoustic guitar since before I was born, mostly nylon string up until about 20 or so years ago when he got his first steel string acoustic… Yesterday he got his very first electric.
