We thoroughly enjoyed attending the VIP soft launch of the new CHANGE AGENT ADVENTURE Children’s activity center at the @civilandhumanrights here in Atlanta! This space is catered toward teaching children ages 7-12 about how to be a change agent in this world, but features activities and moments that children as young as 4 can still enjoy. It features a space to make your own change agent badges and gear, arcade games, a silent disco party with sounds from movements across the globe, and even an area to sit and chat with your child about what they’ve absorbed and learned. Jair especially enjoyed adding his name and pledge to the wall as he declared that he will be kind and that’s how he will make a change. This space is truly a gem! We will certainly be back and I can’t wait to see how their ideals evolve each time we go. Shoutout to Pop Pop for the invite! The grand opening for the public is this Saturday so grab your children and check it out!

On 3/19/25 at 11:19am this little light entered our lives. You’ve taught us to live in the moment, to cherish every day and to lean into enjoying the season of life we prayed for. Life became less about curated moments and have been filled with more beautiful memories. Having a front row seat to watching you grow every day has been a blessing. Son you light upsevery space you enter and you are exactly what we needed. Watching the relationship between you and Jair grow has been the joy of my life.

Today we dedicated our sons back to God at the church where I was baptized and formed my own personal relationship with God. It was truly a blessing to stand on the same stage I’d seen the dedication performed on countless times and now doing it myself with our children. James, this was the perfect time and I’m so grateful you led us in getting this done. Thank you to our parents and their God parents for shifting plans to show up literally at a moments notice.
We are parents to a King and a Prophet. Their names possess their purpose and they will be the arrows that point this next generation towards God. Thank you God for blessing us abundantly, may we steward your blessings with all of our hearts.

Our 2019 and 2022 Scholar, Rachel Drakeford, was a member of the first large Scholar group in 2019. She recently graduated this spring with her Masters in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
