New member of the family - A 1925 Larson & Stahl acoustic. 100 years old and you can imagine the things it’s seen. Sounds absolutely stunning!! Can’t wait to have my music friends come out and record with it ❤️ Bit of info from a website dedicated to the guitars: LARSON GUITARS, MARKETED UNDER A MYRIAD OF NAMES SUCH AS MAURER,EUPHONON AND PRAIRIE STATE, ARE LEGENDARY . Yet there were so few of them built, that many guitar aficionados , even many vintage guitar dealers have seen only a few if any. The few guitar experts who have encountered a quantity of Larsons recognize that these are extraordinary instruments , built notably differently than any other maker. Martin and Gibson guitars are often very fine, factory built instruments , but in no way do they compare sonically to a Larson . In much the same way as a D'Angelico or D'Aquisto is a exceptional , handbuilt arch top , the Larsons sense of structure, sonic identity , and hand craftsmanship sets them apart from any other guitar maker #vintageguitar #nashville

As of now, I’m packing up the place I’ve called home for 16 years. This place has seen everything you can imagine, including divorce, marriage, rescue animals and death. I built this place with my Uncle, Micky Vasovic. Micky was a genius. He could look at a £2000 soundproof door and say “I’ll build you that for £100 and better” And he did. 16 years forward, long after he unfortunately passed away, his studio creation created nearly 4 billion listens. Thank you Micky. I miss you so much and especially your čevapčiči and tandoori chicken. You’re the best uncle I could ever imagine. This is your legacy. Shortly after Micky passed away, my Dad and my Grandad followed. My wife also left, stating that she knew I’d lose everything. One of my best friends @gregnewman76 lent me £10,000 without me even asking and in that first week of borrowed time, I was blessed to write Bruises with @lewiscapaldi and another tune called “love more worry less” with @bipolarsunshine which went on to be @zanelowe radio 1 hottest record. I managed to keep the house and get out of awful, toxic music management, only to be taken on by @paultnharris Paul changed my life and made it so that I could keep staying at the studio that Micky built. Paul was the first “grown up” I’d ever encountered in the music industry and I can’t even describe how he’s positively impacted my life. Thank you Paul xxx During this time, I signed with @concordmusicpub and felt the wonderful feeling of what is was like to be truly taken care of by good people. I was signed by @tomcoulsonsmith and the boss @kimfrankiewicz Both have had absolute legend status from the second I’ve known them. Sincerely, thank you both for everything. It took me years, but I finally found my family. Thank you to @livvlyons for being a voice of reason since day dot. Being my lawyer, I can’t credit you with all deserve because of legal stuff : ) But thank you Liv for everything xxx I’m off to Nashville, Tennessee now for a new chapter and I hope to see you all out there for a boatload of new mischief. Can’t quite believe that a random kid from Sutton was bought an £18 guitar from Argos, only to somehow get a song hit 1 billion streams. So so thankful to @lewiscapaldi for sharing his incredible talent with me. It was a beautiful 2 days that changed both our lives. My ‘new’ 1979 Wurlitzer 200a - I’ve always wanted one of these and one finally came up for grabs in the UK. The guy had owned it since new. He’s an old composer and he wrote the Cadbury’s flake theme, along with coco pops, Frosties “they’re tasty tasty” and loads more on this Wurli.
