๐ณ๐ฅโ๏ธ London greasy spoon review # 136. The English breakfast at Samโs Cafe, a Turkish-run cafe in Whitton. This is the first caf Iโve been to for a while thatโs been completely empty, mainly due to the surrounding area being resident parking only and it being ten minutes walk from a station. For ยฃ11.80 you get two bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, beans, bread & tea. Positives: tea and bread included, perfectly cooked bacon. Negatives: cheap sausage, beans could be more well stewed, egg cooked in a ring, knock off brown sauce not great, no atmosphere.
๐บ๐บ๐บ Pricey but nicey. Sunday lunch at @thecowlondon . Pint of prawns, fish stew, beef roast, banoffee pie. Beef a little overcooked but everything else good.
๐ณ๐ฅโ๏ธ London greasy spoon review # 135. The full English at Devons Cafe in Bow. ยฃ10.80 for one sausage, two bacon, one egg, mushroom, beans, bubble, tea & toast. After adding black pudding it came to ยฃ12.80. Positives: tea and toast included, lovely toast and two slices, bacon cooked perfectly, nice black pudding. Negatives: Bean juice city and they werenโt warm enough, cheap sausage, no black pudding included, egg cooked in a ring.
