I’ve finally got my B License and can now downsize to a 210! It’s been a fun journey getting there and having the opportunity to share the skys with some brilliant people. For B license you need a minimum of 50 jumps and 30 mins free fall as well as your jump master level 1 and canopy training level 1 amongst other things.  Thank you to everyone who has given me their time, energy and knowledge. I’ve learnt a lot and found a hobby for life. It really is the best feeling in the world with a lovely community to boot. Skydiving pushes you out of your comfort zone as nothing quite prepares you for throwing yourself out of a plane with a maximum cruising speed of 213mph (not that we’re going that fast when we jump out) at 14,000ft, giving you roughly 60 seconds of free fall. You hit terminal velocity at 119/120mph before you deploy your parachute around 4,000-6,000 feet. I’ve found that skydiving keeps you out of your comfort zone, focuses the mind, gives you a huge sense of freedom and puts things into perspective.  As a B license holder I can now jump with a full face helmet in the dark and from a hot air balloon. Will also working towards FF1, TR1 and FS1+. With 70 jumps I’ve only experienced one nuisance factor - a line twist at 6,000ft. This is where the parachute twists as it’s deployed, but it isn’t a problem as you can kick yourself round to untangle it.  I’ve loved every minute of my 1 hour 9 minutes and 35 seconds I’ve spent in free fall and here’s to more! My next goal is 200 jumps so I can get my C license where I can jump with a camera and progress onto BASE jumping and wing suit.  Big thanks to @danniids for being patient for all the weekends and days I’ve spent away. @mikeylovemore , @manceyryan , @shandy.2828 , @stunt_badger and @andy_torbet , @luceeelou for all the coaching. Yesterday @milkystunts , @cheyanich and I passed our packing course. Good work lads! Learning how to pack my own parachute has been a goal of mine since I started skydiving in January of this year. @ilko_iliev_ shared his knowledge, taught me how to pack, answered my questions, and with a watchful eye corrected my mistakes. Getting blown into next week on Angel has Fallen in 2018 with @joewatts (on the right) by @stuntsworldwide . I was lucky as this was my first job, my first ever stunt and one I’ll never forget! This show was a fun one, with ups and downs like any new job. I cut my teeth on this production, adjusting to a new career in the film industry making mistakes, learning lessons and learning from some of the best in the business. Thank you @joewatts for looking out for me and telling me “my face was a picture” before getting blown up. I remember us having to wait there with fire gel on our faces for what seemed like an eternity for a plane to go by before we could shoot. We couldn’t see, couldn’t move holding up those rifles and I didn’t know what to expect. My ear plugs meant I could hear my heart was racing but when the explosions went off those nerves went and I loved every second of it. There’s no other feeling like hurtling through the air at 1,000 ft every 5-6 seconds. It’s been such a great week out in Portugal learning how to skydive with @skycademyuk .
