Crazy back story: In 2016, I decided to pivot from growing a brand design agency to building a design software company, I was losing $30k a month investing in our MAXA team and developers. By Sep 2018 after sooo many sales calls and deals, MAXA was running out of funding, still hadn’t broke even, and we were a month a way from closing the company. Then @tristan.ahumada and I connected and he launched MAXA to @labcoatagents and the desire for amazing design hit the industry and MAXA in that month made a profit$$$ and we are able to continue our mission and impact for the industry. SooOoOoo cool to be with him today and catch up on our growth (reaching shy of 100 employees and 300,000+ users on @maxadesigns still being privately held, with no investors or outside financial backing. 💙 #inmanconnect #tonyhawk @tonyhawk

A lot of things have changed for me over this past year… the one thing that remains the same and so fulfilling to is running @maxadesigns - the journey since I started the company in 2012/2013 has made me the man I am today. I can’t believe I got the privilege to personally hire over 50 of the team out of 80 of us and build such an intimate friendship with all my co-workers.
