🚨 SPACE MATTERS • Back to Palm Sunday • I’ve been leading worship for almost 20 years. It’s so easy to feel like you have to fill every space with exhortation or singing. As I grew, I realized how much space matters. 😮💨 You start to sense what’s happening all over the room when you hush for a minute. 🙌🏽 I gave space after a spontaneous praise moment and then hopped into exhortation/flow/prayer real quick and then left more space. 🤫 @johnnie.white ’s talkback is in my ears so it makes it super easy to flow and communicate in these moments & lead together. I really don’t be doing it by myself. 🤝🏽 💙 There’s nothing like when the room starts sounding off in praise, worship, prayer. You’ve gotta leave space for it tho. 🙏🏽🥹 Love my squad and my church.
