When something makes you look further ahead you change the perspective, which also opens up a window for reflection of the past. It’s now a little bit over 1,5 years I opened the chapter of my journey being a part of @lidltrek , at this point I have a hard time to imagine an ending to this chapter.
I feel right at place right where I stand, enjoying every moment possible and the direction we are going forward together.
Saying that the weekend I just experienced with @roubaixnextgen is just one of all the incredible experiences you have with this team feels like it should be a major understatement, but it’s really not and I struggle to get my head around it. Feeling like the luckiest human on earth every now and again.
Many memories for life and much more to come next couple of years✌🏼 #rideforvilgot
I’m just gonna be myself as much as possible this year, because every good memory I found have that in common.
Thanks to the people making that the easiest, trying to keep you close!
2026, låt oss!🕺

Felt like I bit more than I could chew when competing with the best yesterday.
I’m not sure why that is. It just sounds overdramatic, but that thought caught my interest.
Coming straight from achieving the biggest goal so far in my career gave me a certain perspective looking at this challenge.
Many times when you achieve a goal things just clicks, you don’t even think about any pain or discomfort, it doesn’t touch you.
But going on to a much bigger task feeling invincible can flip everything quickly in an upsetting way sometimes.
Underachieving expectations isn’t a bad thing.
It hurts a bit, but I think it makes one feel more alive than anything.
Yesterday I realised how good the very best are.
If anything it inspired me.
I saw the project it will take to reach that same level growing in front of me. I don’t think I saw it in that same way before, but it added value to the journey I’m on.
In the end, without effort everything becomes meaningless.
I don’t chase effort in itself, but I think it’s important to remind yourself that it’s a necessary part of everything worth caring about.
Only thoughts from the rollercoaster.
EXCITED ABOUT FUTURE CHALLENGES!
Wish you where here, Vilgot

@jakobsoderqvist wins in a soaked stage 4 of the Tour de Hongrie! 🥇
With the win, he took the GC lead, which means we are defending the yellow jersey tomorrow!

Paris - Nice:
Unpredictability was the theme, but came out optimistic about near and far future.
Now the goal is to figure out psychical status and calibrate for some unpaved surfaces.🥌❌
