Es geht um das Selbstverständnis und die Abhängigkeiten als Künstler:in in der freien Szene, um das Vertrauen in den Kultursektor überhaupt. Mal staunend, mal provokativ wird hier nach Machtstrukturen und Produktionsbedingungen gefragt. Eine humorvolle, aber ehrliche Analyse der Institution Theater zwischen Kritik und Selbstkritik. Es wird geschimpft und solidarisiert. CUMA ergänzt die Perspektiven der "Bühnenbeschimpfung" von Sivan Ben Yishai mit den eigenen Erfahrungen und konfrontiert dabei das Publikum mit der Frage, warum Menschen überhaupt (noch oder wieder?) im Theater sitzen. Or so it seems. But where does the glamour of the show end and the private illusions of grandeur begin?   The physical theatre concert Vacation from Love reveals the bittersweet "life on the road" of a singer and the love affairs with the band. In a mixture of live music, drag performance and dance, social norms of gender and relationship models are questioned with equal amounts of humour and ernesty.
