The experience brought together plenary sessions, scholarly engagement, and research presentations that strengthened academic dialogue, spiritual formation, and leadership development.
Throughout the week, students were immersed in experiences designed to deepen reflection, expand perspective, and connect learning to lived practice. 📚🤝

At Jakes Divinity School, scholarship is never confined to the classroom—it is lived in the world through service and formation. 🤝
Following our Colloquium, students stepped into hands-on ministry alongside our partner United MegaCare at The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center for “A Mile in My Shoes 2.0,” meeting tangible needs with dignity and care.
🌎 Impact: 500 hygiene kits, 165 people fed, 50 apparel distributions, 715 lives served, and 60 volunteers.
This is JDS… where theological rigor meets embodied compassion, and education becomes faithful action.

Following our Colloquium, Jakes Divinity School students had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into community through our partnership with United MegaCare—sorting and packing hygiene kits and preparing clothing for our unhoused neighbors with dignity and care.
